although were winning, I’m bitterly disappointed
was anyone else disappointed with todays performance? yes we got the first goal which was good but why do we tend to play shit if we score first. i dont care how ‘hard the defense worked’ to keep us out, since we have the most ‘potent’ attacking in europe(which i dont believe). shouldnt we be able to break through defences? ive been a united fan since as long as i can remember and i cant remember another time when weve played with such little creativity, ambition, and movement. since city beat us 6-1 at home, our play hasnt been the same, and im calling it now, i think were gonna get thrashed at the etihad. look how they demolished aston villa 5-0, after they scored the first goal it was like a shower of attacking movement, while we get the first goal then sit on it, very nervous. sir alex said were not gonna lose on goal difference, well guess what were only one point above city and they have more goals than us! in my opinion, young and nani need to be sold, young is extremely predictable and his only consistency is his shit performances, while nani is also predictable and cant even put a cross in. sell them both and get a proper left footed left winger for fucks sake. then, although we have 3 in attack(rooney isnt a striker anymore, how often do u see him in the box these days?), and although chicha and welbeck have scored some important goals for us, i think theyll come good in 2/3 years. they both have terrible touch most of the time, hernandez is mostly a poacher and welbeck just needs to improve his touch. i think we need another experienced attacker or central attacking mid that can slot in there. with shinji out were lacking creativity. anyways im ranting. just needed to get these things out of the way. remember the days we used to win or even lose and say whatever well come back next game and demolish whoevers in our way, now i feel like even though we win, im always scared about the next game.
